Last week after dinner, my wife commented to her nephew (who now lives with us), as we sat around the table, that she needed a glass of water. This did not surprise me, because it is normal for her to ask for something to drink after she has finished eating. After breakfast she usually wants a cup of tea; after lunch, she typically requests a glass of milk; and after dinner she usually asks for a glass of water.

A funny point that I noted about a month ago is that "if" I had purchased all of the same capabilities from Microsoft, there is no way I could have afforded to. In the Lycoris Store, I spent significantly less than 20% of what it would have cost to purchase the comparable products from Microsoft. This includes all updates, Lycoris Direct, and the incentive sales I participated in. Not only are Lycoris products MUCH less expensive, they work & perform MUCH better than Microsoft's, in my opinion.

I came across PCLinuxOS because I am shallow and inpatient. I got a new laptop last week and what I look for in a Linux distribution is that it must look good and work good. I keep trying different Linux distributions but always seem to come back to Mandrake. So, as soon as I got home, I went to download Mandrake 10, but discovered that it was 4 whole CD's. Shock, horror! I didn't want to wait to download all that before playing with my new laptop!

SUSE LINUX 9.1 is a well-implemented, modern general-purpose distribution that is easy to install, pleasant to interact with, and supports a wide range of modern hardware. The developers at SUSE have always striven to create user-friendly products for consumers, and their latest achievement is evolutionary, rather than revolutionary, and not without problems.
